to turn his dismal polling around or face a leadership challenge.

Senior coalition figures have admitted Australians are not listening to Dr NELSON ..

who has spent the past fortnight travelling the country on a so-called listening tour.

Leadership speculation mounted last week .. after Dr NELSON went backwards in opinion
polls .. with his preferred prime minister rating sinking back into single digits.
