SA: Children, disabled may give coronial evidence

ADELAIDE, Feb 20 AAP - The South Australian Coroner's Court will be given greater flexibilityunder planned laws to accept evidence from children, the disabled and illiterate.

Attorney-General Michael Atkinson said a bill to update the powers of the state coronerwould be introduced to parliament today.

Mr Atkinson said the coroner's powers and functions would remain largely the same.
